BAPi's are standard sap interfaces.used to access a
particular business object from either sap / nonsap
system.BAPI is based on RFC function modules.
FM's are interfaces which serve like a service. they can be
either normal / RFC enabled. can be called only within SAP
systems.

from outside program to inside. It is mainly used to post
master datta or create document in SAP system. So it is
standard interaface . Function module are mainly used in
side SAP system as reuasble object in programs.

BAPI is RFC enabled function module provided by SAP.
which can be accessed from outside SAP system(Legacy system) whereas FM can not be called from Legacy system until and unless its an RFC enabled FM. BAPI is mainly used to post master data or create document in SAP system. So it is standard interaface provided by SAP. Function module are mainly used inside SAP system as reuasble object in programs, We can create FM in SAP.
