ON BSE,some shares are listed as EQ and some as BE,wat does
it mean?

there is small mistake in the question, it is not bse it is
nse. in nse the shares are divided in to two groups based
on volumes they made daily. if the transactions of the
shares did not reached as per the sebi rules they will
comes under BE and the remaining comes under Eq. By this we
can concluded that BE shares have less liquidity compared
to Eq shares

That shown in NSE only. Eq means Equity ,it allows to
speculation( intraday trading), Trade for trade scrips shown
in Be group.its not allowed to speculation.

permissible. Normal trading is done in this category.
BE means Shares falling in the Trade for Trade or T segment
are traded in this series and no intra-day trade squaring is
allowed- this means trades can only be settled only by
