Simple Maintenance:
1. It is very popular in use to create organizational structure.
2. We can see the organization structure in a graphical mode.
3. We can create more than one object at a strech/at a
time/at an instant.
4. Complex/Cross Reporting structure is not possible.
Detail Maintenance/Expert Mode:
1. It is used for fine tuning in process of creating
organizational structure.
2. we cannot see the organizational structure in a graphical
mode.
3. we cannot create more than one object at a strech/at a
time/at an instant.
4. Complex/Cross Reporting structure is possible.

Detail maintenance is a tool in organizational plan with
which u can create and display individual organizational
objects. we use detailed maintenance once u have created an
organizational unit in simple maintenance then choose an
object type in detailed maintenance and then u can edit,
create,change and display infotypes of the objects.

for O.M.users, simple maintenance is best used to
establishes the basics framework in organizational plan
development.
simple maintenance uses a free structure, which allows
you to create a basic frame work for organizational plans,
using streamlined procedures.

In detailed maintenance the relationships like A002, B002,
A007, B007 , A003, B003 etc are used. we cannot use the
detailed maintenance for viwing the personel numbers or
staff numbers. If required that can be viewed only through
the simple maintenance-display.
