A control key specifies the buis functions to be carried
out by an operation and how r/3 will process the operations.
Examples of Business functions indicators which can be
specifies in a control key.
Scheduling,Capasity planning while the operation is
scheduled,Time tickets,Rework-To disable auto GR indicator
to facilitate exact qty posting manually incase of rework.
,Costing-to include the operation in Costing.
External processing.

it control the operations while processing the product (scheduling, costing, confirmation, capacity, quality inspection, rework)
this key is mandatory in routing/recipes and has a various option for entering

1. Control key is basically used in Operations( Routing or Master recipe). With the use of control key u Choose Scheduling,capacities,cost,rework,Automatic GR should be considered for the Operation or not.
2. Standard value key: In Standard there will be 3 parameters defined and if we want to configure seperately we can configure a maximum of 6 parameteres for SVK.

control key:- which business transations should be executed for the work center should decide by the control key.like scheduling,print confirmation,external operation,rework,costing,auto. GR, etc we have to maintain control key in work center
std value key:- it define and gives the dimensions to the work center.
we are maintaining up to 6 parameters to the std.value key in work center basic data tab.

One way to achieve this is to create another operation step
using the same work center. However this shall be with a
control key that is not a milestone. When the milestone
operation is confirmed, the previous operations up to the
next milestone are automatically confirmed. To get the
desired number of standard values , all the 'non milestone'
steps can be built depending on the need
