1. Go to PFCG, type role name in case of single role
transport and click on "execute".
or if you want to transport more than one roles,
a) go to Utilities->Mass Transport.
b) Click on Multiple Selection button, list the role
names that you want to transport and click on "Execute".
2. Click on "Transport" button (Truck icon).
3. It will ask for transport request number, then click on
"Create Request"
4. Give details of transport i.e. ticket number(if any),
name of requester of transport, date on which you are going
to release the transport request and then finally click
"continue".
5. now message will be displayed showing what all is added
into the transport request i.e. contents of this transport.
6. Then goto SE10/SE01 and select option "Modifiable" in
Section 'Transport requests', uncheck option "Released" and
click on "Display".This will show the transport request that
you have just created.
7. Expand the request and it will show you the task which is
under the request.Click on that task an press "Transport"
button (Truck icon). At the bottom line, it will show u
status of the task i.e. task is released or not.
8. Then click on Request no. and transport it. Hereby, your
transport request is released and roles have been transported.
In case of test systems, transports are automatic (varies
from project to project) and for Production system, they are
managed by BASIS team.
In case of auto-transport, you can login to test system and
check time interval by which "auto-import" job gets
triggered (this can be done in SM37). after it gets released
in nearest time interval (usually its between 15-30 min),
your transport request will be imported to that system and
hereby your roles will be transported to that system.

1.Create a transport request in SE10.
2.PFCG - please specify the role name - press the transport
button(truck icon).
*** In case of mutiple roles,go to utilities-mass
transport**
3.there will be three info screens. give tick mark.
4.give the transport request number, which you created in
SE10.
5.Press ok.
6.To confirm the changes,go to se10 and see your request
number,right click and verify the roles are attached.

If you have done ant role changes like adding tcode to role
or adding cc or any org level values...

go to PFCG--- do these changes ---- generate profile ---then
copy to derived roles --- now copy the parent role if its
child role or if its single role then copy it..

copy parent role till zx_df_df_ exclude the xxxx now..
attach the * to end and go to utilities mass transport and
copy it with star if its parent role otherwise for single
role copy the single role as it is..

then if its single role--- deselect the first opetion also
transport single roles for composite roles...excecute it...
then create new request---- give ticket number.. role and
reason ... select the UAT ie testing target then continue....


go to SE10 modifiable and release the transport under ur id...

How to transfer the modified role from development box to quality box?
1. Go to PFCG – enter role name or If you want to transfer the more than one role you will go to utilities and select mass transport – click on truck button - to get a popup window – than click on execute – than click on tick marks next two screens – coming to request screen click on new request button (sap sec people are not created request number basis people were created than you will take number before role transfer ) (Hear only you will be allotted two tasks 1 is request number purposes to say basis people, functional testing purposes inform to functional people) – enter short description – click on save - xxxxxxxxxxxxx – click on tick mark.

2. How to relies the transport request number.
Go to SE01 t-code to enter the Request number – click on display button.
Select number put the crosser on customizing task click on truck button.
Select number put the crosser on main task click on truck button.
These transport request will be released this number will be go to sit in to the buffer box.buffer box is nothing but our imaginary box like it's a virtual memory in development box.

3. How to pick the transport request number from buffer box to quality system.
a. Go to STMS t-code than click on import overview button. (Truck button).
b. Than you will systems in sequence Development system, Quality system, and Production system. Which system if you want to receive the request number to be double click on that system.
c. Than we will get this screen and do refresh to be select our request number to click on half truck (Import overview) button.
d. After click the import overview button you will get a one popup screen under the screen you will select the client and immediate transport button.
e. After selecting client to get a small confirmation window to you want to transfer the request click on yes button.

to transport a role follow these steps:

1.to transport the role between the two systems,RFC MUST BE
ENABLED (REMOTE FUNCTION CALL)

2.login into a user goto pfcg specify a role which is
already created click on the send transport icon.

3.after sending the request the user who had sent the role
to particular user should release the request by se10

4.in order to check the other user has recieved or not he
should go for transcation scc1 for checking wether he has
recieved of not.

Transport Management System) and the T Code for STMS is
SE06 .
