Though transformer consist winding which usually cause
reactive power change in both generator and motor but it
wont affect reactive power passing through transformer why?

The questions itself wrong because the transformer doesnt
consumes real power because there is no rotating part in it
it only introduce working flux but if you take the
generator or motor it will consumes the real power

Mr.Vijendra is correct .Transformer consumes only reactive
power due its inductive nature.That why large transformer
are connected in no load condition.
