all the sap logs are in the work directory of the instance
having the path /usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE>/work..

sap logs are os log,db log,application log.
they reside at wrk directory,and you can also check in console.we have der saplog.

There are two types of SAP log.
1. Local Logs: Each sap system has a local log that receive
all the messages from the server. The system log records
these messages in a circular file on the server.
2. Central Logs: Central log is configure and maintain all
the message send by local log meesage.
