of sand weigh 1725kg wheras gravel weigh 1630 kg/m3

Both r same.
Keep 1kg of SAND in Left pan and 1kg of GRAVEL in Right pan
of the same weighing machine.
Both will balance each other.

Density of sand is = 14.5 to 16.5kN/m3
Density of sand is = 14 to 17 kN/m3
so that both density are euqal. i checked in digital weighing.

Any 1kg material will weight 1kg. If you talk about volume, then they are not the same.
