Height of stanction should be about 1.2 to 1.5m (i.e same as
height of human being) so that operator can take reading of
transmitter easily.

the standard height of the stanchion is 1350mm to 1500mm.At
this height only the maintenance crew can easily view the
transmitter.
(saudi aramco standard is 1500mm)

Hey sorry this is a query regarding the same matter.
Why is it 1.3 to 1.5 lower than the average ht of an operator, will this be helpful for maintenance.

Base on experience in a construction company, we mount the
stanchion support for any of the instruments on field, it
should be mounted at the height of 4.2 feet and it should
be free for all any obstruction for maintenance crew.
