google.com”, before click the “Enter / Ok / Go Button, Note
down the Time ( This Is Start Transaction Time )
Enter the “Enter / Ok / Go” Button , once the “Out put/
Google home page” is coming Note the Time ( This is End
Transaction Time)
Response time = End Transaction Time- Start Transaction
Time ( This is one system Response time)
Based on this calculation, calculate the Remain 4systems
5 systems Response time = 1 system Response time+2 system
Response time+3 system Response time+4 system Response
time+5 system Response time

Avg Response time := 5 systems Response time / 5

Yes, I Agree with Sarayu, becasue before the evaluation of
any perfomance tools(like Loadrunner etc.,) there would
have been tested to measure the performance for various
applications. How they would have achieved..without using a
tool. The answer is given by Sarayu.

I think load testing cannot perform manually because in the
tool LoadRunner we have virualusergenerator ,by using that
we can test the application by generating customer
expected load

Hi all,

This is suresh, i agree with you all people.By manually if
we doing like this may be we will get incorrect performance
testing results. I got the solution from shiva-9886372867

Solution is like this approach
1) Understand the NFR document and identify the business
profiles from business analysist

2)Identify the which is most usefull business profiles
3) then do the POC for the tool evaluvation
4)do the benchmark testing....

Hi, this is hari. I reciently joined in a small company on testing. there is no team for testing am only the person to do. i know manual testing, i have knowledge on QTP 8.2. I currently working on web based application. but in my company they want Load/Performance testing. plese tell me what i have to do?? i know Load runner but i have no real time exp on that! and In which areas i have to apply QTP??
