1) STP – Shielded Twisted Pair
2) UTP- Unshielded Twisted Pair
UTP have 2 types 1 is Straight Cable 2 is Cross Cable
3) Coaxial Cable
4) Fiber Optic Cable

UTP is further Divided into three types:-
1) Straight cable- used to connect dis similar devices like

2) Cross Cable- used to connect similar devices like
PC to PC, Switch to switch.
3) Roll Over Cable - used to access the operating system of
router's or switch on our system.
