A value set is a definition of the values approved for
entry or display by a particular flexfield segment. A value
set may also contain a list of actual approved values
although this is not required.
Value sets Types are 4 ie.,
1.VALUE SET LIST TYPES 2.VALUE SET SECURITY TYPE
3.Format Validation Type & 4.Value Validation Type.
Value Set List Types:
1.List of values 2.Long list of values 3.Poplist
VALUE SET SECURITY Types:
• No Security,• Hierarchical Security,• Non-Hierarchical
Security
Format validation Types:
1.Char,2.Date,3.Time,4.Number,5.Date Time,6.Standard
Date,7.Standard Date Time.
Validation Types:
1.Indpendent,2.Dependent,3.None,4.Pair,5.Special,6.Table,
