iam using ph instrument lab india make.3ponit and 5point.in
calibration time 3point slope will come 98.89and 96.87.that
limit is 85 to 105.what basis slope will come.any
calucalation between them.5point wiicome slope 99.89?why
3p0int came 2 values

Answer / firoj m. mulani

It is simple,we know pH is inversally praportional to the Mv
ie If pH is Increases mv is decreases.
then, for calculating the slope at 5 point a simple formula
as below,

Mv1.68 - Mv4.01*100
---------------------
pH4.01 - pH1.68*59.16

Mv4.01 - Mv6.87*100
---------------------
pH6.87 - pH4.01*59.16

for next point's,formula as above
if 5 point pH it gives 4 values came of slope.
