20 Boys and 10 Girls

I have taken the question into two equations. i.e
(here Boys as B and Girls as g)

The amount to be ditributed in as g+2b=50
The total strength of the students g+b=30

By solving this equation we get g & b values i.e., g=10 and
b=20

Answer / vignesh1988i

the answer is girls are 10 and boys are 20.... we haVE to
give rs 50 to 30 students... so 1st i saw wat will be the
maximum amount that each can get so it:

50/30=1.67 rs. so surely girls must get lesser than this
since it's given male gets double than female,...

so taking two easiest divisibilities 1.25 and 2.50 we can
get for one female and one male.... and compute it...

thank u

The condition is the male shouuls get double of female
student... now

Let us assume a as girls n 2a as boys then it will be
a+2a=30 so {condition above} a=10 now replace instead of a
it will be a+2a=30
10+2{10}=30
10+20=30!!!
