just write a command "sh ip protocol" if link is down check
the ip address that u have put on serial interface or
ethernet interface or chk the clock rate at the end of dce

Chk modem connectivity frm service provider end to customer
end. Chk same network ip address is configured serial
interfaces.Also chk same encapsulation configured both
routers.

Hi,
To solve this problem one should check the modem placed on
client side .One modem is installed on client side and it
is .35 modem and on ISP side it is .62 modem is placed for
connectivity and to up link.One can check router
configuration if the Serial port S0 and need to contact
nearest exchange (Telephone) in order to get the link up.
