Trans isomer will show UV spectra at longer wavelength than
the cis-isomer due to more pi-electron overlap.

in this formula the valency of s is 3.the charge is +2.when
the valency of the sulphur reaches at max state of level
then it will convert into trans isomers.so having max
velency of sulphur indicates trans isomers.
