Smart work is the work done with intelligence. it means
work will complete in a short time. Hard work is the work
to be done with concentration. it means work will complete
in a given time. So every work should need both smart work
and hard work.

with smaller requirments that means doing tasks faster. the
difference between the smart worker and the hard worker is

Smart work is the one in which you have got to put in mental efforts, ie, you have to think a lot about achieving the things in a quicker and an efficient way.

Smart work is done by humans with intelligent brain with
innovative ideas which will obviously complete the work far
below the given time frames. Hard work can be compared or
termed as "donkey's work" with no intelligence or
innovative ideas which will be completed by the given time
or on dot.
Basically, smart work is thinking out of box to complete
the given target/work within no time. Hard Work is to slog
the butt out to achieve the target within the time frame.
