Call centre workers are suffering from a new industrial
disease: repetitive voice injury, also dubbed as call
centre-itis. Long hours and little opportunity for even a
drink of water are behind the 'disease'.

BPOs do not present attractive career prospects. They are
not challenging enough for the employees after a period.
Most of them are stuck for good in their present placement
once they start working in call centers.
