If the switches are manageable use the link aggregation
protocol,this will double the amount of bandwidth available
and you will have redundancy for your links.
It not you will crate a loop on your network and a brodcast
storm could bring it down!

No it will remain what it is. You cannot double the
throughput because you have multiple feeds.
