Global warming is increase in the average temperature of
earth's surface which can cause Antarctic and Arctic regions
to melt thus increasing the water level of sea.Due to
increase in sea level the population situated on the coastal
areas might fall a victim to Tsunami. As 70% of land on earth
is occupied by water, the percentage may increase if the
temperature is not controlled. This can be avoided by
controlling the pollution which has a major contribution in
rising temperature.

distinction of entire human species. It can lead to coastal
flooding, rise in the earth's temp.If it is not controlled

Global warming refers to an average increase in the Earth's
temperature, which in turn causes changes in climate. A
warmer Earth may lead to changes in rainfall patterns, a
rise in sea level, and a wide range of impacts on plants,
wildlife, and humans. When scientists talk about the issue
of climate change, their concern is about global warming
caused by human activities.

Global Warming occurs as a result of increased concentration of greenhouse gases in the
atmosphere. The main greenhouse gases are water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane,
nitrous oxide and ozone. These gases do now allow all the radiations from the Earth to
escape back info space. This is known as theGreenhouse Effect. This trapped radiation
or heat helps to keep the Earth at a constant temperature. Greenhouse effect is thus very
important to main the temperature of the Earth at a habitable level.
