Plants that have narrow distribution range are called as
endemics. They are restricted to only a particular
geographical region and do not found in other regions. For
e.g. the Indian Pitcher plant, Nepenthes khasiana occurs
only in Khasia hills of Meghalaya in India and it can not
be seen elsewhere. So this plant is endemic to Khasia Hills.
