What is the value of (p-1)3 when p=15/18+5/16-20/24?..

Answer / poornima

p=5/6+5/16-5/6
both 5/6's get cancelled.
so, p=5/16

What is the value of (p-1)3 when p=15/18+5/16-20/24?..

Answer / s.chinna rao

p=(15/18+5/16-20/24)
or p=5/2[3/9+1/8-4/12]
or p=5/2[1/3+1/8-1/3]
or p=5/2(1/8)
so p=5/16
now (p-1)
(5/16-1)
-11/16
again (p-1)/3
= (-11/16)/3
= -33/16

What is the value of (p-1)3 when p=15/18+5/16-20/24?..

Answer / brijesh shah

I think We can think from reverse
like...
15/18+5/16-20/24
So
15/8 = 0.833
5/16 = 0.3125
20/24 = 0.083
SO Now 0.833 + 0.3125 - 0.083 = 1.0625
Now Come to Main Part We want this P Should become
15/18+5/16-20/24 means 1.0625
So (p-1)3 = 1.0625*3 = 3.1875 + 1 = 4.1875
So, P = 4.1875
Now Put that in (P-1)3 you get 1.0625 and ans of
15/18+5/16-20/24 also 1.0625
So ANS is 1.0625

What is the value of (p-1)3 when p=15/18+5/16-20/24?..

Answer / raviteja900

p = 15/18 + 5/16 + 20/24

taking 5 common from numerator

p = 5[3/18 + 1/16 + 4/24]

so solving we get

p = 5/16

so (p-1)3 gives

p = -33/16
