Spectrum:-Ordinary light natural or artificial consists of several colors or more correctly wavelengths. When such a composite light is passed through a prism of a dispersive medium the different colors get separated and a variably colored pattern or spectrum is obtained on screen. White natural light contains Violet. Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red colures.
