two types one contect type onether is non contect type
contect type is eddycurrent based and noncontect type is piezo electric. in non contect type we have to set gap voltage and output is volts and piezo type only output is 4 -20mA

vibration sensor is device which is used to measure the gap voltage between the rotating shaft and probe working principle of vibration sensor is eddy current and there are four types of vibration sensor.
Axial vibration
Radial vibration
seismic vibration
vibration switch
Axial vibration is installed in 180 degree and radial vibration is used in 45 degree both are device which is used to gap voltage.

when an eddy current probe is installed inside of a turbine or compressor in case of probe problem same as:crash of head of probe, changing the scale factor because of low measuring gap(physical gap is ok(example=1.14mm)but voltage is reduced(example=-6 volts),is any way to check the probe, when the ohm of probe is ok.thank you,(Karim Tavakoli)

I am using Capacitive type level transmitter for measuring oil level in a closed tank (lub oil tank). The txs range is 1500mm, and they do hunt regularly (for about 45mm), can anybody tell what could be the reason??? or any other type level tx that could be used to avoid this?
