sorry sir my english is touch week .. first take a multimeter and set in resistance mode and measure the rtd.if 100 ohm resistance at 0° centigrade then rtd pt-100 is ok near value 99-101 ohm resistance.and same case in pt50,pt25,pt500,pt100 etc only value is isolated of all rtd.otherwise rtd is damage when not match the value..i hope u understanding my ans.thank you

it can be known by two different way. first by measuring
resistance by using multimeter and second way to use
measure temp by using temp simulator.

PT 100 means, 100 ohm at 0 degree. and 4 ohm increasing
with every 10 degree temp.
eg: if resistance show 120 ohm that means temp should be
show about 50 degree.

We are using Rosemount 5400 series Radar Level Transmitters in all types of Sump Applications having oily water hdrocarbon petrochemical nature. What we are facing the problem frequently is that always getting reading frezzed at some value. If we do power recycling , sometimes it is working . then making same freezing problem. If anybody faced before such type of problem and also having solution , Please give the answer.
