Please why do we use 4-20ma in instrumentation engineering
when the operation engineer told you that he gives the control valve order to open but there is no response ! what will you do ? and if you found that there is astuck , what will you do ? (note : it is apanumatic valve )
what does a positioner in control valve ?

How to calibrate the flow transmitter
we re giviang 24v supply to transmitter and we getting output from tx?now my question is wht we call this complete proces?
any body pl suggest me the best type of transmitter for level monitoring of a distillation still which consists of highly corrosive and inflammable liquid.closed vessel height=5000mm especially in petrochemical industries
In split range control, we will control 2 outputs with time interval. Eg :(with 4-20 ma signal, for 4-12 ma we are operating one control instrument like valve & for 12-20ma we are operating other control instrumet (other valve). If we get a signal of 15ma to first instrument (Valve 1), what will happened to the first valve, and if we get signal above 20 ma to 2 valve what will happened ?
What is the exact differences between HART,FOUNDATION FIELDBUS,PROFIBUS?
why we use only 4-20 ma signal as AI and not 0-20 ma?
