why is honed type flow orifice plate? what purpose it used? how to select this?..

Answer / sabry

Actually It's called "Honed meter run".

It's a 1 piece manufacturer piping assembly, used to hold the orifice.

It's called "Honed" as the piping internal surface is honed/machined to be glass smooth surface.

This assembly is very expensive & it's used in custody transfer applications.
