why we used pin 8 in opamp?

Hi, This is Tushar Srivastava. See, There is a simple reason
for your question, it is called symmetry. Yes, it is only
the symmetry. Actually, the general purpose LM741 opamp has
only 7 working pins. If you will take a look at the pin
diagram it says that pin 8 is not connected (NC). This means
that pin 8 is not connected to anything inside the IC. It is
just a dummy pin which is only meant to make the design of
DIP casing, Symmetrical. No more reasons.
