In off load tap changing transformers tap is changed after discharging of load on LT side where as in on load tap changing transformers tap can be changed with out discharging load on transformer.

In off load tap changer the transformer will be in off
condition,it safe for equipment and personal safety,,

In on load tap changer the transforme will be in running
condition,there is no interruption of power supply,but
there is unsafe for windings.

Now a days 230kv are and above prefering only off load tap
changer,The tap changer provision will be held on HT side
only.

How do I know if a transformer is saturated? I am doing the simulation of the saturation of a transformer, but what parameter tells me when a transformer is saturated? How do you calculate? is on the plate?, there is a rule that can help me? How could model?
