why Flywheel is used (Need technical answer)? why generally flywheel is big in shape?..

Answer / dushyant bais

Flywheel is used to store energy the power stroke.
because after the power stroke the energy needed by the
piston to complete the other three stroke will be given by
the flywheel.thts why to store a big amount of energy the
size of flywheel is kept big.

why Flywheel is used (Need technical answer)? why generally flywheel is big in shape?..

Answer / prasad kangude

flywheel is used in ic engine to reduce fluctuation in
speed by absorbing &releasing energy duing power&3remaining
strokes respectively. energy stored in flywheel is directly
proportinal to mass moment of inertia (mk2)so it is big in
shape

why Flywheel is used (Need technical answer)? why generally flywheel is big in shape?..

Answer / kapil

flywheel is used to store the energy and supply it when there is a variation in speed, like in IC engines where the 3 strokes other than power stroke are idle strokes...
energy stored in fly wheel is directly proportional to the moment of inertia i.e I=mk^2.
where m=mass of fly wheel.
k=radius of gyration(i.e radius of flywheel)
if k value is high, amount of energy stored vll be high, so obviously size of the flywheel vll be big.

why Flywheel is used (Need technical answer)? why generally flywheel is big in shape?..

Answer / sooraj

It is a heavy wheel mounted on the crankshaft of the engine.
It minimizes cyclic variation in speed by storing the energy during power stroke and same is released during other stroke

why Flywheel is used (Need technical answer)? why generally flywheel is big in shape?..

Answer / nallani naveen

Flywheel is a rotating device, used in the engines. It is used in reciprocating engine. After the power stroke the energy needed by the piston to complete three power strokes, we use the flyweel

why Flywheel is used (Need technical answer)? why generally flywheel is big in shape?..

Answer / vironika

Fly wheel is a rotating device having a large wheel to maintain inertia after the power stroke the energy is released by the piston that energy must be calculated

why Flywheel is used (Need technical answer)? why generally flywheel is big in shape?..

Answer / tutul

fly wheel is used to maintain inertia. size is big coz to
provide more torque

why Flywheel is used (Need technical answer)? why generally flywheel is big in shape?..

Answer / gopal manda

flywheel is used in IC engine because it support to running
of the engine continue and share the engine load.if load is
increase instantly.then it support the engine
running.otherwise engine maybe stop.big fly wheel is use
because it angular force is directly proposnal to it size.
