Product Based company is one which deales only with one
particular product.
Project based company is one which deals with projects of
different products. When one project (1 product) is over
they switch on to the next project containing another
product.

I know functional test cases are derived from frs and system design specs. But are test cases for performance, database, boundary, relational integrity and other types of tests other than functional tests created from frs and system design specs as well?
