What impact analysis required for out of calibration and
how to proceed

Answer Posted / murali reddy

We have to 're check why it has failed. For example wavelength accuracy failed means we have to do impact analysis
That is before calibration of HPLC ..Which products are analysed
The same products (same test) had to repeat on another system
Like this last 5 samples need to analysed.if results are ok
We can say no impact. Then after knowing actual problem
Re calibration required n proper justification should be given.

2. Two grams of Benzoic acid are dissolved in 200 ml of water and extracted with 200 ml of diethyl ether. The distribution coefficient of benzoic acid is 100, and its dissociation constant is 6.5 10-5. Calculate the distribution ratio (D) of benzoic acid at pH 2, 5, and 6. 3. Calculate D at pH 2 to 10 (1 unit apart) in the above problem, and plot D versus pH.

In BP2013, Loperamid HCl monograph. Assay by titration with 0.1N sodium hydroxide using hydrocloric acid 0.01N and reading the volume added between the 2 points of inflexion. I have a question that if the diluent solvent is ethanol is certainly consumed a amount of volume of titrant, so this volume must be eliminated on the result calculation or not apart from first point which is subtracted above.
