Company background can be valued by 4 things.
1. company's past performance in the industry which can be
measure by net sales, profit figure.
2. Did company has paid dividend and interest to its shareholders.
3. What has been record of company's corporate governance. So company background also depend on the background of its board of director, whether they were involved in any activities or not.
4 Has company done any acquisition or merger in the past.
