what is the difference between indoor package substation
and outdoor
Answer Posted / abishekmittal
As per my knowledge, Indoor package substation refers to
GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) substation whereas in
outdoos substation we go for AIS (Air insulated
switchgear/circuit breakers). Also, GIS substation is much
more compact as compared to AIS/Otdoor substation.
