Perfusion method have several drawbacks.
1.during these expts lose certain of the regulatory
mechanisms such as hormonal and nervous control which
operate on the organ in its locus.
2.inferences drawn from such expts are always those
obtained under artificial conditions in which the tissue is
operating.
