why skin effect is decreases with decrease with frequency?
why skin effect occur
Answer Posted / pyobik
skin effect is a phenomenon occuring in solid conductor
carrying AC supply, which leds the current to flow maximum
at the surface, this current density difference at the core
and the surface is due to the flux linkage in the core of
the conductor is more and leads to greater inductance
inside the core. And the skin effect occurs!
and the inductance is dependent on the frequency.

In Dyn11 power transformer if any one of the 3 phases connected to earth in star connected side then please explain effect of the current flow in delta connected side of transformer.(In this case if one phase is shorted to ground in star connected side then we observe the current flow in two phases only not three phases in delta connected primary side. Please explain why it is so?)
