Question
I got H1B approval in 2009 quota. But I would like to give 
Visa interview in Jan 2011. So is it ok to give the 
interview after almost 1 year? If no, then what is the 
maximum time they allow for appearing the VISA interview 
after H1B approval?

When you mentioned quota then you should know that allotted
quota will not transfer from year to year. I dnt think 2009
can be extended 2011.

Question
I had my H1-B visa interview today (29th October 2009), my 
interview went well however i was sent back with my 
passport and 221g form saying my title did not show up in 
their system and as soon as it does i have to submit my 
passport to get my visa stamped. Has anyone come a/c with 
this kind of issue??

Hi,
It is not an big issue.The problem is with the pims 
database.Ur petition has not been found by the consular 
officer in his system.Once it is updated u again go for 
stamping.Call embassy for the update

Hi All,
I have an H1-B visa interview on 8th OCt 2009.

I have completed 4 years in my present company 
but i mispalced my Company Offer letter .

Could anyone please tell me is this letter is a mandatory 
on going for visa stamping?

US Department of Labor for failure to pay salary

Companies which violate immigration laws need to be 
exposed. HTC Global Services is a company based in Troy, 
Michigan with offices around the world.

In India, it has offices in Tambaram, a suburb of Chennai.

This company has been found to violate US immigration laws. 
The following instances along with supporting evidence 
cautions employers and employees.

1. HTC Global Services has been found to violate the US 
Immigration laws on "6/8/2000" specifically "Failure to 
comply with subpart H or I (failed to obtain PW 
documentation)".

Looks like technical error, HTC adjusted the loan arrears 
in employees last pay cheque instesd running the pay roll 
and deducting the loan when the employee resigned

HI iam sudhakar i got selected h1b approval for the year 
2009 .in the h1b document they have mentioned the interview 
location as chennai by that time hyderabd office was not 
opened. can any one help me where i can attend the 
interview hyderabad or chennai and is it the rigtht time to 
attend the interview..

i think u have to visit the same consulate as mentioned in 
your h1b approval. If you want to change the consulate then 
u have to get back to USCIS which will take around 3/4 
months to change the consulate area.

Hi, 

You can attend your VISA interview in Hyderabad and infact
you have to attend the interview at Hyderabad only. 

You need to schedule an appointment only depending on the
State of Residence and irrespective of anything else.

Please go ahead and make an appointment in Hyderabad.
