frequency?

Answer / www.pooneetkashyap.blogspot.co
from emf equation of X'mer
E=4.44fNAB (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformer)
where E=voltage
f=frequency
A=Area
N=number of turns
B=magnetic flux density
in general we can say
A=E/(4.44fNB)
for constant value of E,N,B
if we increase F,then Area of core will decreases means size
of transformer will reduce.

EMF of a transformer increases with frequency. As a result the transformer can be physically more compact because a given core is able to transfer more power without reaching saturation and fewer turns are required to achieve the same impedance.

from transeformer eqn size of the transeformer is inversely proportional to the supply freqency...
e=4.44 f BA N
flux=B*A
SO,A=1/F
When freq increase,size or area of the t/f is decreased

Answer / chandan kumar
E=4.44bafn V
so if we increase the supply frequency the induced emf
increases
and the active power of transformer is given by P=VI,
SO POWER DEVELOPED IS INCREASES of the same t/f
if we increase the frequency
therefor the size is decreases
