WHEN DISIMILAR METALS OF DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES ARE JOINED
AN EMF IS INDUCED AT THE JUNCTION THIS IS SEEBACK EFFECT

Is This Answer Correct ?    58 Yes 15 No

what is see back effect?..

Answer / renjith

When the junction of dissimilar metals are kept at different
temperatures, then an emf is introduced b/w both the junction.

Is This Answer Correct ?    39 Yes 5 No

what is see back effect?..

Answer / bharathi

Two dissimilar material jointed together it is called hot
junction and kept free other end it is called cold junction.
An emf induced at cold junction it directly proportional to
temperature difference between two junctions. For example
the hot surface is in 300 deg c (hot junction) and room temp
is 30 deg c (cold junction) you will get mv which is equal
to 270 deg c.

Answer / rajesh

when any two dissimilar metals joined at each end ,one
junction at higher temp another at low temp ,then there
induced an emf ,thats depend on differrence between two
junction temperature

what is see back effect?..

Answer / bilawal

when any two metals of different nature joind from both the
ends and then heated from on end the current is being
prodused due to the different value of electron in outer
most shell of the metals.

what is see back effect?..

Answer / manish kumar tiwari

WHEN TWO DISSIMILAR METALS ARE AT DIFFRENT TEMPRETURE ONE OF
THEM IS HOT AND ANODER COLD COMPARING TO IT AND WHEN THE
TEMPRETURE WILL INCRISE IN HOT END THEN AN E.M.F. WILL
INDUSED IN JUNCTIONOF BOTH METALS AND IT IT WILL BE IN "mv"

Is This Answer Correct ?    2 Yes 4 No

what is see back effect?..

Answer / samira patel (itps)

IF TWO DISSIMILAR METALS ARE JOINED TOGETHER SO AS TO FORM A
CLOSED CIRCUIT ,THERE WILL BE TWO JUNCTION FORMED WHERE THEY
MEET EACH OTHER.ONE OF THE JUNCTION IS CALLED HOT JUNCTION
OR REFERENCE JUNCTION AND ANOTHER JUNCTION IS CALLED COLD
JUNCTION OR MEASURING JUNCTION.IF HOT JUNCTION IS HEATED AN
EMF IS INDUCED AND FLOWS THROUGH THE WIRE ,THAT IS MEASURED
BY A GALVANOMETER OR MULTIMETER.THIS EFFECT IS CALLED
THERMOELECTRIC EFFECT AND THIS IS FIRST OBSERVED IN 1821 BY
SEEBACK SO IT IS ALSO CALLED AS SEEBACK EFFECT.

Is This Answer Correct ?    2 Yes 5 No

If a control valve is hunting means means if we are giving 50% to the cv, the cv will open at 51% then slowly slwoly it will reaches 49% , then it will reaches again 50%, this type of action occured frequntly.. so what to do for solve this problem. The possible cause is in volume booster or positioner's relay.. positioner is double acting .. and make siemens..sipart.The cv is double acting and mounted for anti surge operation, it having 4 nos. volume booster, one sov, one positioner, etc..?
