Project Sign-off means the product is deliverd to the
client and the client has accepted the product, so that the
Software service provider(Software development company)
will no more be responsible for any sort of further
development/maintainance/modification without any seperate
OR new billing for the same.

There are some criteria which a project or test manager
signs off the project..
1. If the budget gets exceeds the proposed.
2. If the time for completion is getting increased while
the implementation date is closer.
3. When atleast 90% of test cases are executed and no
critical or major bugs are in open status.
4. When the application is not stable more to test!!!!
