DTX is a Discontinuous Transmission.
Generally used in mobile network.
There is a speech time or silent time while conversation on
mobile phone. This can be recongnised by using Voice
Activity Detector(VAD).If there s a silent period during
conversation DTX will off the transmitter and hence a
mobile which has limited power supply capacity can be
saved. And also Interference can also be minimised by DTX.
