About which capacitor are you talking about.
If it is the value of the capacitor in Capacitor bank in
substations, first of the we have to calculate the reacive
power(Inductive reactive) of the system.
The main purpose of adding the capacitor in the electrical
network is to mininize the inductive reactive power by
adding capacitance.
If u could find out the inductive reacive load of the
system, we can calculate the capacitor value to neutralize
the same amount of inductive reactive power.

When we are working on transformer(132\11KV). we are going to isolate the transformer from both HV side and LV side. then we are applying grounding on both side. My question is that we required to isolate the VT which is still connected from secondary side.?
