enough?

Usually the mechanical life of the contactors will in
millions times and they are very easy to control and
operate. Other breakers are large in size and difficult to
control when compared. Also the opening & closing time will
be very less for contactors and in case of any short
circuits contactors can be easily repaired.

The main function of magnetic contactor is to prevent
accidently operation after the power failure & again
recovery. Because as soon as power fail the holding coil
release the contacts and it will not operate untill someone
complete the hold circuit again .

magnetic contractor is more of a sequence swiitcing device
while later is aprotection device.
even the contractrs on papers can perform the operation of
a cb.But to my cognizance I had never seen any contracor at
HT level
every time a c b operates it required to chare the spring
manually (or motor but with manual interferance) which is
not in case of contractors
