I applied for H1B through consultant and got H1b VISA
Approval. I have received soft copy from my consultant
through mail. I haven't received Hard Copy.
I have doubt whether the Approval Mail I got from my
Consultant is realy belongs to me. How can I Check That?.
In The USCIS Site it shows the status alone not the Name?
My Consultant asking me 50K as a security Deposit.
Kindly tell me what are all the document, to Appear in the
H1B VISA?
What is probability of getting VISA from Chennai Consulate?

Do not pay any deposits..this is illegal and if found out
would void your visa immediately. They have no right to ask
you for any money. (The US government is cracking down in
this practice a lot right now)
To take to the consulate you need your LCA, approved visa
petition from the USCIS, employer offer letter, proof of
paid application fee, then supporting documents like
degrees.

Hi, I have not filed my IT returns for 2008-09 as my income was NIL due to unemployment. IT dept.even refused to accept a NIL form. If I do get a job offer from US and have to apply for a business visa, would I need IT returns for 08-09?

I have done MCA in 2004,has been into IT and ITES for past 3 years.I worked as Team Lead for .net,j2ee programmers.I didnt went in that way,since i was not into programming .net or j2ee.Hence I have done ABAP recently.Iam now looking for ABAP openings.During a process, I came to know about H1B jobs.Some consultancies in hyd,chennai does process h1b.They take fee of more than 1L and they bring the documents that we have been selected to their onsite company in usa.We go to consulate and get stamped.Once we reach usa,they market our resume again to get the right job.Once we get the job,we pay them % monthly.The 1L which we pay initial is refunded.What do you think about this process?Can anyone suggest whether I can go for that or not?Please provide your valuable inputs. I went for an interview for H-1b visa stamping the visa officer was not satisfied with the doc and asked me to get list of employees, their sal, position and income tax papers. After a week I went back with all those doc, agin she has asked me to get unemploymentwagereport.My company is not ready to give to the report? Is there any other way to get visa stamping done... as I might loose my job .....Is there any other alternate paper that could help me with that....????Plzzzz help me if anyone knows abt it.
