Vss ( Visual source safe ) .It is a common repository where
we maintain all our information like documents
(FRS,SRS,TP,Test case documents etc). In this all the
documents are read-only . If we want to modify that first
we need to check out (download ) the required file to our
local system then modify the file and then check in
(upload) the modified one.

vss is configuration tool which stores sourcecode saftly
and creates no of duplicate duplicate builds which are
released to testing team, so that even though testing
modifies the source code or built that will not effect
original source code.

1.vss is configuratuion management tool
2. main advantage is when ever we make change in any file
it will autogenerate the new version
3.security
4.in vss we have check-in and check-out i.e the file will
be in read only mode,if we want to make any changes in that
file we have to check-in after completion we have to check
out.

as our friends said it has the ability to safe running of
the project, by useing this we can know the modifications
made, and the persons who had done the modifications by
selecting the "History"(Give the Right click on the file or
project then select the History, u vil get the history of
that). One more advantage with this is u can differentiate
the present project r file with the older (Comarision of
files or projects can be done)by simply selecting the two
files or any thing which u want and then give the right
click then click on the "Compare". We get the differences
between the two. it has lot of uses. if possible i vil
attach the material regaring VSS , but i need a couple of
days,k.

Question – This is only for user experience, and has no bearing on the formulae / process. Simple long text box. 2. Selection of field – radio button selection of 1 of 3 choices(Love, Career, Personal), which affects 1 of 3 card- meaning databases to be used. After selection, the unselected databases do not affect or interact with the system. 3. Spread Selection – radio button selection of 1 of 3 choices(Celtic Cross, Horse Shoe, Simple 3 Card). This determines the number of cards being picked and the specific spread database to be used. This also affects the specific report format being used, as well as the card- selection GUI. 4.
