A stone falls, because its weight is greater than the weigh
of an equal volume of air. A balloon rises up, because its
weight is less than the weight of an equal volume of air.

a stone fall down, because every object has equal opposing
force. in stone due to that weight upto certain hieght it
is rest then downward force is higher in stone so it falls
down. but in ballon due to less weight its upward force is
higher than downward force so it goes up.
