Pump is use to transport the liquid and compressor is for
transporting the gas.
pump is used only for pumping purpose but compressor is
used to compress the gas from initial sucction pressure to
final discharge pressure.

Pump Add The K.E (kinetic energy) in The Liquids As Liquids Are Not Compressible By Plunger Or Piston On The Other Side Compressor Compresses The Large Amount Of Gas To squeeze It In Small And Pressurized Form..!! As Gases Are Compressible So The Energy Is Added By Compressor Through Squeezing The Volume Of The Gas. As Pressure Is Inversely To The Area..
