practically 8 bags of cement need for 1m3 concrete
i.e 8 X 50 = 400 kg
as per IS code W/C = 0.45
400 X 0.45 = 180 lts of water needed
but water cement ratio must be taken from slump test

its depends on Concrete Ratio.
For M5 - M20 = .4
M25 - M35 = .5

if structure is rcc then cement will be 380 kg . means no of
bag is 7.6.
for pcc then cement will be 360kg. means no. of bag is 7.1.
according to this u can find the quantity of water

The Water Cement ratio is
W/C=0.45 (IS 456-2000)
Now, Multiply the volume cement wth void ratio(30%).
W/Vc*1.3= 0.45
W= 0.585*Vc.
