Yes we can measure pressure with the help of Differential pressure transmitter,we have to connect the HP side of the transmitter to the process line where we are going to measure the pressure,But only thing is we can measure only up to the range of minimum since Differential pressure transmitter will be in range om mmwc.

we know that dp transmitter working principle on pressure difference and in dp type transmitter two ranges URV and LRV
1 LRV is low side value and 2 URV is high side value
SO only reed high side pressure this is vessel pressure
or connect the hart comminucator and then display the vessel pressure

actually we can use the differential pressure transmitter to measure the flow and level, not the pressure, how, if level, it calculate the difference of high side and low side of the transmitter, then it convert to the level using formula,it is a very long explanation, this is only a laymans term...

In split range control, we will control 2 outputs with time interval. Eg :(with 4-20 ma signal, for 4-12 ma we are operating one control instrument like valve & for 12-20ma we are operating other control instrumet (other valve). If we get a signal of 15ma to first instrument (Valve 1), what will happened to the first valve, and if we get signal above 20 ma to 2 valve what will happened ?
