there is one formula with graphitical y=MX+b
for exma:Given a temperature transmitter with a measurement
range of -88 degrees to +145
degrees and a signal range of 4 to 20 milliamps, calculate
the proper signal output at an applied
temperature of +41 degrees.
Ans:take 41 deg and subtract to lrv mens -88. then 129 will
come and then you devide by span rang of transm..likespan
(145--88)=233,129/233=0.55 and take this number and
multiply by spanof current signal like 16ma and addto lrv
after that you can get ans...

as our Colleague said that is also right, but one more
simple way is that 1 mv is equal to 25 degree you can
calcutae bases on mv.nothing more
for ex 5 mv at element side then temp is 125 degree.

The company where I am working, their is rosemount 5400 series radar type level transmitter, it is meant to show level of filled tank, but along with the level it is showing temperature also, so my question is how a onon-contact type radar type level transmitter can show temperature even if it does not have any contact with the fluid?

How can i solve the problem of ROSEMOUNT 5300 guided wave level transmitter of full range? For more clearfication , another guided wave level transmitter VEGA brand have the same problem and i solved it by drain the champer from water and make "false signal suppretion" from transmitter push buttons it's configuration to tell the transmitter to avoid any built-up signal ,,, so my question how can i avoid the problem that rosemount read full range while the champer empty or any other ????
